Senior Football Night

How Time Flies!

 This is the famous words all parents eco when that last football game arrives. Senior high school football night is an evening where players who are graduating are recognized in front of their home crowd for the commitment to the school's football team over the last four years.






 As a student athlete, your child's senior year can be very emotional,  this may be the last season they play a sport they love and have been playing for as long as they can remember. 

That proud moment finally arrives when they get a chance to walk out on the football field with their parents.  For some of them it's a time of accomplishment,  a time for them to say Thanks!  A time for all the fans to show appreciation!





Football is the first level of play in which a player will accumulate statistics, which will determine his chances of competing at the college level, and ultimately the professional level if he is talented enough.( re; wikipedia)

 Many friendships have been made, and its a bittersweet time for all.  The Senior night should be fun, exciting and memorable. In capturing that special moment, it gives me pleasure to see the pride in the faces of athletes and parents.  Even the siblings are proud and looking forward to their Senior Night!

Senior cheerleaders and band members are also performing for the last time at a regular season home football game. I had the pleasure to watch the band at halftime.  As they completed their halftime show,  a band tradition was to remove their shoes as it was the last march and performance in their senior year.  I thought this was so cool!



These are memories that seem so small at the moment but will be big tomorrow.  

        Cherish every moment you get to spend with your children, they grow up quickly!!
